Crystal Bowersox survives double elimnation round in American Idol
It’s just an hour ago when American Idol aired the most “scary” episode: The Double Elimination round. In this episode, no one is safe, including our very own Crystal Bowersox. What happened with Big Mike last week will cost a lot now. Two contestants will be going home. It could be Siobhan or Crystal and they could no longer be save by the judges since that gimmick was already use in saving Big Mike Last Week. Anyway, the show is over and it turns out that Crystal is safe – and well, Siobahn is safe too, LOL! Why I care for Siobhan? Well, maybe I am looking forward on a girl vs girl finale and they’re both rocker chics, so that would be really cool to watch. I could think like DeWyze vs Bowersox, I don’t know…
American Idol just aired their Elvis Presley themed night. I don’t really have any “bad feelings” regarding this night since I know myself that Crystal Bowersox will shine further by singing Elvis Presly songs and well… she did, and not just that, she exceeds my expectations. Crystal Bowersox were tagged as ‘The Consensus Choice’ by USA Today’s writer Ken Barnes. Among others like Casey James being called as ‘The gear-shifter’ and Michael Lynche as ‘The mystery man’. Anyway, the risks are getting cold this Wednesday Night’s elimination round since there will be two contestants to be booted off. Since the judges already used ‘The Save’ option on Big Mike, there are no more tricks to keep a contestant with the lowest number of votes in the show. This is threatening, but that’s how it goes. Tomorrow is performance night with Adam Lambert mentoring the contestants to be doing the Elvis themed night. We’ll see how will that turn out…
Next week on American Idol, it’ll be an Elvis Presley themed night. On this week, the person mentoring will be Adam Lambert. This sounds promising in both ends, but what do you think Crystal Bowersox should be singing in Elvis Week? Some said Crystal should be singing “Suspicious Minds” or “In the Ghetto”… Whatever it will be, I’m pretty sure that Crystal will still deliver us the goods.
Eliminated American Idol contestant Didi Benami talks that she would like to collaborate with Crystal Bowersox. I guess she’s talking about ‘songwriting’ and all that. It was also told that Didi and Crystal had already discussed that they will work together soon. “I really wanted to do an originals night. I would love to collaborate with Crystal. We’ve already talked about it. We like the idea of writing together” – Benami said to Entertainment Weekly.
This night, American Idol will be revealing it’s Final 8 contestants. The result is… not good! It’s the guy’s turn this time around and the one that is supposed to be going home is Michael Lynche. The only girls left is Crystal Bowersox, Siobhan Magnus, and Katie Stevens. None of those girls were in the bottom three. It’s the guys like Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, and Big Mike completed the set. Like what is being said, Big Mike is the one going home but NOT until he finished singing. Yes, the judges did saved Big Mike. He’s not going home. No one goes home tonight.
Like what I’ve said earlier, Crystal Bowersox, will be having an ease on this Lennon/McCartney night. She did ‘Come Together’ and yes, she once again dominates the night. Not to mention that she’s having a cold while doing this performance. No one can tell because that’s nothing but a good performance. Crystal deliver the goods once again. Found these two new songs from Crystal Bowersox. It’s called “Hellbent” and the other one is “Sunflower Sunshine”. Sounds cool. The acoustics were so chilling and the lyrics on ‘Hellbent’ is so realistic! Listen to it and enjoy these tracks once again!

Crystal Bowersox is safe and she’s heading to another round. I’ve no idea what will be the theme next week, but I’m sure she’ll be doing just fine. At the moment, although this news might not be related to Crystal, the result is disappointing. Didi Benami goes home while Tim Urban is still there. It’s not a good week for Didi but Tim has been worst in each week, but anyway…
