Elliston native Crystal Bowersox paired with Pennyroyal Silver, a jewelry company, to create a pendant design to benefit the Toledo Red Cross. Bowersox tweeted about the jewelry and said 30 percent of sales will benefit Toledo and she is “working to get that percentage higher.” The pendant designed is based on Bowersox’s first tattoo and comes with a handwritten message from Bowersox.

VILLAGE OF WHITEHOUSE, Ohio (WUPW) – The farmer who created the Sarah Palin Corn Maze in 2008 will honor Northwest Ohio’s homegrown Idol, Crystal Bowersox, for the 2010 corn maze. The 16-acre Corn Maze at The Butterfly House in Whitehouse, Ohio is designed this year to feature two images of Crystal, including her famous dreadlocks, as well as her guitar and signature.

Crystal Bowersox will be performing live in a Toledo radio station this coming June 28, 2010 on 101.5 River (WRVF-FM). That will be on Monday, so prepare yourselves! They’ll also be having an autographed guitar (signed by Crystal Bowersox of course) to be auctioned with all the benefits going to tornado survivors. Crystal will perform on the Mary Beth and Rick Show during the 8AM hour.

Crystal Bowersox recent tweet includes a defense of her ex-BF Tony Kusian. Their split up, literally happens on ‘bad timing’, and reports claimed that it was Tony Kusian who chose to end their relationship. Crystal’s statement: “Just want to clarify that Tony Kusian is an amazing human being and deserves nothing but happiness. Leave him alone people. He’s a good man.” Other news is that, Crystal just finished a shoot with the top ten!!! “Awesome to see everyone on the production staff again!” Get ready for the upcoming Tour everyone!

It now looks like Crystal Bowersox will follow in the footsteps of other American Idol contestants that made a name for themselves on the show. It has recently been announced that Bowersox will sign a recording contract and will release a debut album in the Fall of 2010. Bowersox has signed with Simon Fuller’s 19 Recordings/Jive Records and the American Idol founder cannot be any happier.

I think I’ve been able to post this back then(?), but anyways, Crystal Bowersox has been confirmed that she’s now under the banner of 19 Recordings/Jive Records. Crystal Bowersox simply expressed her gratefulness in joining the home of other past “Idol” contestants. “I’m really grateful to be given this opportunity to make an album and let people hear my music” she said it along with the company’s press release. “And I’m looking forward to working with all of the folks at 19/Jive,” she added.
