New songs from Crystal Bowersox called “Eventually” and “Shine” (AUDIO)
Whoa! It seems like I am getting lost already in here. Not so much news around Crystal Bowersox the past couple of months but look at what we have here: 2 NEW SONGS! I think there are already a total of 4-5 new songs from Crystal Bowersox. Maybe a couple more songs and reserve songs to complete and MamaSox is good to go for a 2nd album that we’ve been all waiting! These 2 new songs (ie: Eventually and Shine) were performed at the 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville, TN last 4th of December 2011. I can hear that these songs might not be finished as of yet but at the same time I can hear the kicks. This must be so good once it’s out! “American Idol” runner-up Crystal Bowersox is back on your TV screens – but this time, she’s guest-starring on “Body of Proof.” She tells Zap2it a little bit about her shady character. “My character’s name is Zoey Brant. She’s incarcerated for beating up her drug dealer, or whatever implied relationship she had with him,” says Bowersox. “She’s in work-release program at a horse therapy facility and there’s some kind of accident. She comes into question, but I can’t tell you whether she’s guilty or not. But it was a lot of fun.” We had no idea Crystal would be playing such a hardened character, so we wondered if it was a huge stretch for her, but Crystal tells us she has some things in common with Zoey.

We’re hoping that she should release an album with all her original pre-idol songs on it, including the acoustic ‘Farmer’s Daughter’. Here’s Crystal Bowersox performing in the Peace Corps Gala. I’ve already posted about this event somewhere in August 2011 I think, but I can no longer find my own posts. That’s not important. Here’s a new post with a video; Crystal Bowersox performing live. To all MamaSox fans (myself included) expecting her to wear that hat again, well… no hat for now. If you’re having those three, then read this: Crystal Bowersox’s hubby, Brian Walker, is allergic to cats.
