Crystal, you already know how great you are, but please, darlin’, secure your hair so that you don’t have to constantly fool with it, as it is a distracting and sophomoric habit. Hands down, you are the best singer to grace the AI stage in a long time. Best of Luck tonight!!!

Here’s some visual evidence of Crystal Bowersox’s performance of Up to the Mountain on American Idol. Crystal did this song as potential winners single and is originally by Patty Griffin. Means it will be appearing on their album. This is the third and last song that Crystal performed for this night and it was literally the best performance of the night. Randy said it twice: incredible! Simon, on his last critic, said it was outstanding! Words can’t explain how great the vocals in this performance!

Finally, it’s been done! What a night, right? Crystal Bowersox battling against Lee Dewyze for the ‘American Idol title’. Amazing! This only happens once every year and you know you’re really getting a great finale this time around (after David VS David – Season 7). Tomorrow there will be much more “entertainment” to watch and relax than tonight’s tense and nerve wrecking episode, lol! Of course, my vote goes to Crystal but I’m telling you… that boy Lee Dewyze isn’t an easy target at all. Let’s wait for America’s decision tomorrow night and whatever the result will be: Crystal… you are my American Idol!

Crystal isn’t safe at all, specially now that VoteForTheWorst is rooting for Lee Dewyze. For some reason, I’ve no idea why they pick him up – Lee is not a bad singer but what is going on then? With the Season 9 finale less than 24 hours away, Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze took a timeout from rehearsals to greet the press on Monday afternoon. Both seemed relaxed, upbeat and confident, insisting that theirs is a “friendly competition.” “This is what we’ve wanted,” said Crystal. “We’re living our dreams.” To that end, Lee is still pinching himself. “It’s overwhelming,” he admitted. “To go from where we were to here is a big deal.” And in staring down the finish line, Lee is looking to let go of the nerves and have fun. “I want to do my thing, be myself and enjoy it, rather than be afraid of it.”

Ron Prince got a phone call earlier this year from a friend telling him to turn on the TV. Like, right now. “He said, ‘Ron! Ron! That’s your girl on TV! On ‘American Idol’!” When Prince clicked on Fox, he saw Crystal Bowersox, the young woman who used to come by his Englewood home studio, sit on the floor and play her guitar. Prince had been intrigued enough by what he heard that he’d recorded some of her songs — nine of them, and she said she had 40 ready to go — and wondered what could be done with them.
