I know you receive many notes of congratulations and support. Let me say that I have not watched American Idol consistently until this season. Your unassuming, soulful voice has helped make the show interesting to me this time around.
Your humble, heart and soul approach to your music reaches beyond the sound system and touches people. If you keep that up and sing with your heart like you did with “People Get Ready” your voice will inspire and entertain millions.
There is a special power that the Spirit of God gave your song, that caused it to touch your heart, mine and millions who watched…and that happens when we dare to honor Jesus’ loving invitation with our talent. I have watched the youtube recording over and over and wished the song went on longer…it enriched me and made me grateful.
Thank you for singing that simple song about the Lord’s call to mankind. I believe God used it to touch us “where we live”…both believers and those who the Lord is urging to board His train. I think it was right on time for many, many people.
